About Us
The BASIS Austin Boosters is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to create a community among BASIS Austin families and staff providing funds for classroom supplies and equipment, planning social events, parent engagement and recognizing teachers and staff.
We host Fundraising events like Spirit Night at local restaurants & businesses, organize the Fall Festival, the Spring Fun Run, Movie Night, Teacher Appreciation events, stock the teachers lounge with goodies, Teacher Holiday gift drive and give funds to the Annual Teacher Fund.
Join the Boosters Board for 2025-2026 School Year!!
These are the current open positions for the 2025-2026 School Year & a little about each role. Boosters Meets on the First Monday of every month @7pm year round, the new board will begin meeting in May 2025 with the current board.
President: Insure that all Bi-Laws are followed, helps each seat of the board full fill their duties and insure, interviews all potential board candidates, conducts voting on all board related items. Oversee the Booster Membership program, administrates WhatApp groups & answer parents questions. This is a voting position. Time commitment per Month 4-8 hours
Vice President: Fills in for the President when she is not available in all of the above mentioned roles. Oversees the Volunteer roaster for Booster sponsored events. administrates WhatApp groups & answers parents questions as acts as a liaison with the School to help parents. This is a voting position. Time commitment per Month 4-8 hours
Events: Plans the Boosters sponsored events including Fall Festival, School Dances, Concessions, Spring Fun Run and more. Organizes volunteer for events. Sets up and manages all of the event signup/payments. This is a voting position. Time commitment during non event months 1-2 hour, during event months 5-10 hours
Fundraising: Plans all Booster sponsored Spirt Nights, and fundraising drives through community outreach, sets up and manages all fundraising signup/payments. This is a voting position. Time commitment per month 4-10 hours.
Communications: Creates all event and fundraiser flyers, posts flyers to ParentSquare, WhatsApp & Website. Updates Website & Social Media accounts with current information about Boosters. Administrates all WhatsApp groups for elements & answers parents questions. This is a non-voting position. Time commitment per month 4-10 hours.
The following roles are currently filled but if you have overwhelming interest these positions can be co-chaired. Secretary, Teacher Appreciation & Treasurer.

Boosters Membership
New for this school year we are introducing the Boosters Membership. A tier based membership that includes things like lunch with
your student, early access to club sign up & VIP seating for awarded ceremonies. You can email info@basisaustinboosters.org to learn more.

When you make a donation (including the Booster Membership) your employer

We accept direct donations via PayPal and Venmo
Participate
When you participate in Spirit Nights a percentage of sales goes back to Boosters. When you purchase tickets or goods for Booster organized events 100% of the proceeds go to Boosters and the School.
